ここではないどこか別の・・・　　　other・・・
今日本のアートシーンの中で、paintingを中心に新しい流れが広がりつつあります。
そこには感覚や感情が源になっていても、自己の救済的開放が目的のナイーヴな危うさは見受けられず、独自のルールで社会や世界とリンクしながら個々のフィールドを築き上げています。そしてそのフィールドを目の前にした私達は、そこが身近な場所に存在する"どこか"であることに気づくのです。シリーズ10回目のProject Exhibition。







千葉和成 「ダンテ「神曲」　千葉和成現代解釈集　「地獄篇４〜７圏　FUKUSHIMA」　」
13−14世紀イタリアの詩人、政治家、ダンテ・アリギエーリの代表作である「神曲」は「地獄篇」・「煉獄篇」・「天国篇」の三部からなりイタリア文学最大の古典とされるものを、私 千葉和成が現代解釈したものを具現化する。今回は地獄篇　第9圏のうち第4圏から7圏までを描く。

The masterpiece of 13 – 14th century Italian poet/politician Dante Alighieri, known as “The Divine
Comedy has three volumes: Inferno, Purgatorio and Paradiso. It is considered one of the most
important pieces of traditional literature. I, Kazunari Chiba, will interpret it my way, and
embody it. This time, I will be working on Vol. 4 - 7, off 9 volumes.

「現代人を歌麿風の人物画で描いたら、新しい人物画が出来るのではないだろうか」というコンセプトで取り組んだ作品です。
個性のある現代人が集まる場所として、東京２３区を題材にしました。






Hiromi Arai “Ukiyoe of present-day”

How would modern Japanese people look like when painted in Utamaro-style
Japanese painting? Would it create a new style for portrait? – I focus on this theme.
I chose the Metropolitan Tokyo 23 Wards because that’s where you can find all unique
Japanese modern people.

Hiromi Arai
I love Japanese modern art and traditional art. I love Japanese Shiba dog, too.
I love books, Soundtrack CDs, movies and TV dramas.
Sometimes I sit down thinking “too much favorite things…” but I always take it slow.

松本巳佳「意識の考察」－The Book of Black & White from PHANTOMS IN THE BRAIN－

「脳のなかの幽霊」（PHANTOMS IN THE BRAIN）幻肢等の奇妙な症例から脳の構造や働きを探り意識や心の問題に迫るこの本から、実在性を構築する情報と認識との差異または曖昧さによる自己の意識を考察した。

PHANTOMS IN THE BRAIN

“PHANTOMS IN THE BRAIN” – This book describes the function and structure of
human brain. It goes on to explain how it relates to consciousness and problems that
human feelings make by analyzing unique symptoms including “Phantom limb”. I
studied how human brain processes information that builds reality, and how it differs
from what human cognizes, as well as how human relates uncertainty to self
consciousness.
