それは生化学や遺伝子工学の変化が始まりでしょうか。あるいは記号化、デジタル化がもたらしていくものでしょうか。21世紀の生物としての人の、存在としての人の激しい変化の予兆 でしょうか。見いだされる身体の表現の変化に驚かされます・・・・・・。新しい世代が関知し表現する、さまざまなジャンルの身体表現を、Project Exhibitionとしてこのプログラムは取り上げています。2000年から始まりシリーズ13回目。

Did it start with changes in genetic engineering?
Or was it genetic encoding and digitalization that started it?
Is it a sign that our existence as organisms will change drastically in the 21st century?
Whatever the cause, the dramatic changes taking place in the ways today’s artists represent the human body is nothing short of shocking.
This exhibit explores works by artists of a new generation that express the body in a variety of media.
This is the 13th “Message from the Body” Project Exhibition, which began in 2000.







Moe Aoki “When Emotion Lives Within”

There are many things on earth we cannot encounter by the naked eye, such as “life” and “space’s momentum”.
These are the things that we can only know cognitively, and so there is no inferiority or rejection. They are virtually standing there all naked, as they are.
I always relate myself to those things and think as if I was forgiven for living myself, or perhaps I bowed to be forgiven.
My emotions had nowhere to go, but started harmonizing with scenery and body that are closing in on me.
