原岡容子 Yoko Haraoka
東京生まれ。2005年に渡米し、ボストンのNew England School of Photographyで写真を学ぶ。卒業後NYに拠点を移し、様々なジャンルを経験後、自嘲を含んだ自身の写真を作り出すことの面白さを見いだす。以降、ユーモアに重点を置いたセルフポートレートのプロジェクトを中心に作品制を精力的に行っている。アメリカでは、ニューヨーク、フィラデルフィア、バーモント州で、その他東京、ハンガリーでの展示会に参加している。
Yoko Haraoka was born and raised in Tokyo, Japan. She moved to the U.S in 2005 and attended New England School of Photography in Boston to pursue a career in photography. After experiencing a variety of photography fields, she has been mostly concentrating on self-portrait projects with an emphasis on humor.　Exploring this direction has led to numerous exciting and dynamic series　that showcase her playful and artistic outlook on life. Her works have been shown in such places as New York, Philadelphia, Vermont, Tokyo, and Budapest. She currently lives in New York City.

ないとうようこ Yoko Naito
福岡県生まれ。日本大学芸術学部写真学科卒業後、２００９年に単身渡米、現在はニューヨークを拠点に活動中。２０１５年にソニーワールドフォトグラフィーアワードのプロフェッショナル部門 ’トラベル’で第３位、’ライフスタイル’で入選を果たす。また２０１４年には細江英公氏、森山大道氏などが審査員を務める清里フォトアートミュージアムの「ヤングポートフォリオ」に入選した。２０１２年にリコー株式会社より「世界を選んだ写真家たち」に選出され、リコーRING CUBE ギャラリーでグループ展に参加した。その他、主な受賞歴に国際写真賞やロンドン国際クリエイティブコンペティション、パリ写真賞などがある。東京やニューヨーク、ヨーロッパ各地で展示を行っている。
“私は福岡の田舎で生まれ、東京で育った。この田舎と都会での生活は私に大きな影響を与えた。私のプロジェクトは異なる環境で共感性や共通性を見いだす。”
Yoko Naito, Japan has graduated from Nihon University College of Art, Tokyo, Japan. Currently living in New York since 2009.
She received Sony World Photography Award 2015, 3rd Prize in “Travel” and Finalist in “Lifestyle” in both of the Professional categories. She also received some awards such as Kiyosato Museum of Photographic Arts 2014, International Photography Awards, London International Creative Competition and Px3 Photographie Paris Award etc. Her work has been exhibited in solo and group exhibitions in the United States, Europe and Japan. “ I was born in a small village in Fukuoka and grew up in Tokyo. The experience of the gap between rural and urban life has had a significant effect on me. My project describes some sympathies and similarities in the different environments. ”

松井みさき misaki matsui
写真家・映画監督
神戸生まれ。2008年にニューヨークに渡る。 風景・人物写真、映像、インスタレーション、すべての作品において、「希望のない瞬間はない」を共通テーマとし、人に希望を思い起こさせることをミッションとしている。 ニューヨークの琴演奏家・作曲家の安藤準と、「フローム・ザ・ホワイト・ルーム」というコラボレーションを結成。写真集と音楽CDが一体となった共著「ホワイト・ストーリー」を出版。またショート・フィルム「ホワイト・シー」は、2014年のロンドンのレインダンス映画祭に選ばれた。 松井はアメリカ、日本、ヨーロッパにて作品を発表。現在、ニューヨークのブルックリンに在住し、そこを活動拠点としている。

She was born in Kobe, Japan and moved to New York in 2008. Her theme “no moment without hope” is found throughout her photos of landscape and portraiture, films, and installation projects. Her mission is to remind people that they can still have hope. She has the collaboration project “//from the white room.” with Jun Ando, composer and Koto - Japanese harp player. They co-published a photographic book & music CD titled “White Story”, and their short film "white sea” was selected for Raindance Film Festival 2014 in London. She has shown her art works in the United States, Japan and Europe. She currently lives and works in Brooklyn, NY.

Yuko K.
美術系大学卒業後、イラストレーターや美術講師などの経歴を経て渡米。現在では絵画、イラスト、版画、写真、ヴィデオ など、多岐に渡って制作の幅を持ちNYCを中心に活動。文化的な人種のるつぼ、メルテイングポットであるNYCで、世界中の様々なバックグラウンドの人々と、自身のアートやクリエイテイブな活動をシェアすることは、世界を理解する上で、とても大きな意味を持ちます。こういった経験を元に、 自身のアート、グラフィックスに更なる意味を与え、 文化的な架け橋としてのユニバーサルなコンセプトを持つことは、私にとっては常にとても重要な課題の一つです。
After graduated art university in Japan, working for freelance illustrator, painting instructor etc.. and moved to NYC. Currently living in NY and working with various materials as painting, printmaking, illustration, photographs and videos for methodology of contemporary art. Experiencing to do art and creative activities sharing in this cultural melting pot NYC with people of many different backgrounds from around the world,means a lot for understanding the world. In my art, it is always one of very important tasks of creating graphics to add more meanings with universal concept as being cultural bridge to use such experiences to the full.

安井春菜 Haruna Yasui
1987年気仙沼にて生まれ 神奈川県にて育つ。
毎夏、宮城県の沿岸「歌津」にて 過ごし、大きな影響を受ける。
2006年多摩美術大学　美術学部　版画学科　入学 銅版画を専門に習得する。
2010年多摩美術大学　大学院 美術研究科　版画研究領域　入学2012年同大学院　修了 銅版画、ペン画、漫画を中心に制作活動中。
最近では百貨店などでの展覧会にも参加。
Was born in Kesennuma-city, Miyagi, Japan in 1987.
Now, independently producing new art-works in copper engraving and printing, and black-and-white pen drawing.
In Yasui's work, there is mixture of the landscape of the reality and imagination, which is like a glimpse of never-ending tale. In this tale drawn in black and white induces people to her unique nostalgic world.

伊佐奈月 Natsuki Isa
グラフィックデザイナー
1991年東京生まれ
2015年、武蔵野美術大学視覚伝達デザイン学科卒業。東京のデザイン事務所に就職。
普段は事務所にてグラフィックデザイナーとして、多岐にわたる分野の広告やパッケージのデザインを手がける。
個人的には、アートブックやコンセプチュアルな彫刻作品、デジタルアナログ変換に基づくグラフィックポスター、rolleiflexというフィルムカメラで写真を撮り、制作をしている。
表現方法は様々だが、テーマは一貫して'五感'’感情’に基づいている。

She usually makes as a designer advertisements and package designs of various fields in her company.On an individual basis she made several art books, conceptual sculpture,graphic poster according to Analog/Digital Conversion and have taken photos with her film camera “rollei flex 3.5f”.
The themes in all her expression are “Five senses” and “Human feelings”. Though she explored various means of expression, these themes always underline her works.

私は、経年変化や混沌を好みます。
刻まれた皺、使い込まれた道具、古びた建築、
何度も小便や嘔吐物をかけられたであろう片隅。
コーヒーやアルコールを飲む時も、
味のある佇まいに惹かれます。
風化、劣化、偶然、失敗から生まれる色や調和が美しい。
写真をまとめる時に、
枠に捕われず、自分が好む形でまとめたいと思ったのが、
制作のきっかけです。
綿密な計画は立てず、写真を眺めながら、
その時に生まれる様を待ちわびています。
l like secular change and chaos.
It is graven crease, well-thumbed tool, ancient house, corner soused with urine and vomit.
I feel fabulously intereted in old,when I have a coffee and alcohol.
Color and balance made by weathering, degradation,accident,failure are beautiful.
I take execution a cue from I would like to collect up photograph as I will, don't be square.
I don't create a strict plan, I am waiting for the time to come with looking photograph.

小林澪李 Miori Kobayashi
1994大分生まれ
2010〜大分県立上野丘高校　美術部にて大阪美術大学主催のコンクール「ダ・ヴィンチを探せ」で銀賞受賞、大分県のコンクールで推賞受賞

現多摩美術大学統合デザイン科入学２年生　
プライベートブランド【ニロス屋】を設定してアートとアクセサリーの製作をしている。
She born in Oita, Japan. She join the Art Club of Oita-Ueno High School, And she has won many awards including Silver prize at theArt Competition [The Search for da Vinci] atOsaka Art University.And she has the first prize in Oita.
She enter the Tama Art University. Now, she is a second grade of the university.

前田善志 Yoshiyuki Maeda
1991年神奈川生まれ。
2013年多摩美術大学グラフィックデザイン学科卒業。
同年、箱のようで猫ような生き物「ハコーシュカ」の絵本を制作し始める。
現在、絵本とイラストレーションを中心に活動中。
Yoshiyuki Maeda was born in Japan, 1991.
He graduated from Tama Art University department of Graphic Design in 2013.
After graduating, he produced "Hakoshka" is a charming creature such as a cat, such as a box.
Currently, he is active mainly in picture books and illustrations.

This annual program starts off with "THE NY ART BOOK FAIR" at MoMA PS1 in NY every September, and moves to bookstores around Tokyo including Kinokuniya Bookstore Shinjuku Minami for YOUNG ARTISTS’ BOOKS FAIR in January the next year. And in March, it travels over to New York for JAPANESE YOUNG ARTISTS’ BOOKS FAIR exhibition in several bookstores in areas with latest trends of New York including Kinokuniya Bookstore. This program travels around and　introduces the Japanese Artist books focusing on spreading and creating the trend around it. And now, TOKYO art crossing BERLIN is the first exhibition in Berlin. Exhibition will be held in three venues; neurotitan gallery as the main venue,Motto Berlin, an art-book store; MODERN GRAPHICS, store for comics and graphics.

Das PEPPER'S PROJECT, der Veranstalter von „TOKYO art crossing BERLIN“, führt seit 2007 ein Kunstbuch-Projekte durch.
Das jährliche Programm des Kunstbuch-Projektes startet im September mit der Teilnahme an „The NY Art Book Fair“ im MoMA PS1 in New York. Im darauffolgenden Januar organiziert das PEPPER'S PROJECT dann den Event „Young Artist's Book Fair“ in verschiedenen Buchläden Tokyos, u.a. im Kinokuniya Bookstore in Shinjuku Minami. Im März folgt dann die Veranstaltung „Japanese Young Artist's Book Fair“ in beliebten Kiez-Buchhandlungen in New York. Das Programm dieses Wanderprojektes ermöglicht jüngen japanischen Künsltern, ihre Ideen in Form von Kunstbüchern einem breiten Publikum international zu präsentieren. Mit „TOKYO art crossing BERLIN“ kommt das Projekt zum ersten Mal auch in drei Berliner Buchhandlungen.
In der „neurotitan gallery“ findet die Hauptausstellung statt. Weitere Orte sind die Kunstbuchhandlung „Motto Berlin“ und „Modern Graphics“, die sich auf Comics und Bücher über Grafik spezialisiert haben.

“TOKYO art crossing BERLIN”のディレクションの中心的役割をしているPEPPER’S PROJECTは2007年からARTISTS' BOOKS　PROJECTを展開しています。
プログラムは毎年9月、NYのMoMA PS1で開催されるTHE NY ART BOOK FAIR参加て゜スタートし、翌年1月 TOKYOで紀伊國屋書店南店を中心に複数の書店でのYOUNG ARTISTS’ BOOKS FAIR開催を経て3月ニューヨーク、NY紀伊國屋書店をはじめトレンドエリア数カ所の書店でのJAPANESE YOUNG ARTISTS’ BOOKS FAIR開催に至ります。それは日本のアーティストブックの形成と普及に向けてプレゼンテーションするトラベリングプロジェクトと考えています。そして今回この”TOKYO art crossing BERLIN”プロジェクトでベルリンでの初めての展開となります。
開催場所はneurotitan galleryをメーン会場として、アートブックの専門書店Motto Berlin、コミックからグラフックブックを中心の書店MODERN GRAPHICSと3会場での開催となります。

Many animated films are created in Tokyo, and there are many artists working on animated films. In NY, many artists record their artwork on film and turn it in to animated films and short films. Screening Program consists of animated films and NY artists’ animated films and short films. The main program will be held in Kino Central and all films will be played on screen. There will be other films which will be played in event programs and other events as mediums of “TOKYO art crossing BERLIN”.

In Tokyo sind Animationen sehr beliebt und viele Künstler produzieren Animationsfilme. In New York produzieren viele Künstler Kurzfilme oder Image-Videos als Teil der eigenen Kunstwerke. Das Film-Programm zeigt die Animationsfilme der in Tokio lebenden japanischen Künstler sowie die Kurzfilme und Image-Videos der überwiegend in New York lebenden japanischen Künstler. Das Hauptprogramm, in dem alle Filme gezeigt werden, wird im Kino Central aufgeführt. Einige andere zusätzliche Filme und das Film-Programm wird auch im weiteren Event-Programm als Medium das „TOKYO art crossing BERLIN“-Projekt ergänzen

TOKYOはアニメーション制作がとても盛んです。多くのアーティスト達がアニメーションを制作しています。またNYでは多くのアーティスト達が自分のアート作品の一環として、作品をイメージビデオやショートフィルムにしていきます。SCREENING PROGRAMはTOKYOアーティストたちのアニメーション作品とNYアーティストたちを中心としたイメージビデオ、ショートフィルムで構成されます。メーンプログラムはKino Centralでのそれらのフルプログラム上映です。そして様々な異なる作品がいくつかのイベントプログラム、その他に関わり、“TOKYO art crossing BERLIN”　プロジェクトの触媒の役割をはたしていきます。

南宋詩人の陸遊の名句「石不能言最可人」――石は何も言えないが、一番人から可愛がられる。海に静かにたたずむ巨石。何万年もの歳月で自然が創造した巨石の表情は変わっている。鍛えに鍛えられ、遥かな記憶がよみがえてきた…しかし、周りの環境や自分の外見がどう変わっても、石の心は揺れることがない。

People born in our era are mostly the only child of their families, due to the policy of Family Planning in China. We have always been eating and playing alone since our childhood, spending everyday in such a lonely state. While people of previous generations almost have siblings, and thus they grow up with company.Therefore, I think no one could experience the sense of loneliness as profound as our generation.
Children growing up with a lonely and uneasy childhood will be so intensely influenced even when they become adults. Violet, the protagonist of this animation always lingers and wanders in her dream, resulting from her childhood trauma. She locks her inner world, falls into the abyss of loneliness and fails to get out. From my point of view, Violet is not an exception in our generation. Instead, many people are suffering from similar situation.Therefore, I create my own work to present the sense of loneliness and anxiety of this group of people.
私と同じ世代の人々は母国中国の一人子政策でほとんど一人子で、子供時代から一人で遊んだり、食事したり、一日を過ごすことが多いのだ。そのため、私たちの世代は誰よりも深く孤独を感じてきた。
そこで、私が考えているのは、子供時代の孤独と不安が成年後にも強く影響を受けているということである。このアニメーションの中の主人公スミレが小さいごろのトラウマのせいで、夢の世界で彷徨ったあげく、心を閉ざしてしまって、一人の世界に没入している。現代人の中で、この主人公のような人々が決して少なくないと思われる。私はこいう人たちの「孤独」や「不安」などの感情を表現するために、この作品を制作した。

In the 17th century, there was a hypothesis that Ether fulfill this entire universe. It lead scientists to resolve the mystery of propagation of light, which is the biggest question in the past centuries. Appearance of ether is the key to reveal the truth of universe, however, the existence of ether was rejected by the theory of relativity in 19th century. After that, nobody thinks about ether. The ether, which is formed by common perception, was during that period, and had a unique character and important role in our world. The idol formed by our common perception will be awaken their ego from their given nature...
１７世紀に、エーテルという物質がこの宇宙空間には満ちているという仮定がなされ、長年科学者を悩ませていた光の伝搬の謎を紐解くきっかけとなった。エーテルの出現は宇宙の真理を解明する光明となったが、エーテルの存在は相対性理論の出現とともに１９世紀に否定され、以来エーテルという物質は考えられることはなくなった。しかし、人の共通認識が生み出したエーテルは、その時代確かにそこにあり、その独自の性質と役割をこの我々の世界で担っていたのである。我々の共通認識が生み出す幻想は、やがて与えられた性質からその自我を目覚めさせる。
